In December 2007, i took the First Certificate in English (FCE).
FCE is a general proficiency examination at Level B2 in the Council of Europe Common European Framework.
Research has shown that typical candidates as Level B2 can:
- Follow or give a talk on a familiar topic or keep up a conversation on fairly wide range of topics;
- Scan texts for relevant information and understand detailed instructions or advice;
- Make notes while someone is talking or write a letter including non-standard requests.
The examination has five papers: Writing, Reading, Use of English, Listening and Speaking.
I had been awarded with the Grade C, which means that my performance was satisfatory.
